Hey i just got a bunch of anonymous messages of people upset about their photos being posted. Let me clear some things up here!!
Every single image on this blog is sourced. There is NO EXCEPTION. I do not post images that aren’t sourced! That is my strict rule. If you click ANY image on this blog, you will be taken to the website or flickr I found it at! If the image is in a photoset, then the source will be stated below the set. I don’t know how else to say this, but you are mistaken if you think I’m not sourcing. I source everything. As an artist I more than understand the absolute necessity of sourcing all forms of art, including photography.
that said, if your image is on here and you don’t want it to be, sending me an angry anonymous message does absolutely nothing for me, or for you. I don’t know what image or rat you’re talking about. I can’t possibly do anything to make you happy. I don’t want to make anybody angry or upset, much less feel they’ve been robbed from. I’m not a monster, I’m a totally reasonable human being and I can understand feeling protective of your photos! Honestly, I stopped updating this blog over 6 months ago. I would have no qualms with deleting it at ANYBODY’s request, if you are bothered by its existence. I made this blog initially because I wanted to share high-quality photos while maintaining their sources. Many of the rat blogs I followed didn’t source their images. I don’t feel comfortable sharing or spreading images without their source attached. It’s actually a little ironic that I’m getting these messages!
I’m sorry you were mistaken. I don’t know what to tell you other than to click the pics on here and go to the sources, which are all accurate. I’m assuming maybe you don’t use tumblr often, and you’re unfamiliar with how sources work, or how to get to the source of images posted. I understand the mistake and I’m genuinely sorry I made you upset and feel your work was infringed upon. Talk to me about it and we can clear up anything you feel uneasy about.
And again, if you have so much issue with it, ask and I will delete this blog. I just made it as a resource for myself and others to find good quality photographers, while also bein’ cute pictures of baby rats. I don’t want to agitate anyone with it, much less breeders or owners or photographers. Your feelings matter more than a silly blog.
